Abstract

Microspheres are tiny spherical particles, typically ranging from 1 to 1000 micrometers in diameter, made from natural or synthetic polymers. They can encapsulate drugs, providing a controlled release mechanism to enhance therapeutic efficacy and reduce side effects. Microspheres are gaining significant attention as a novel drug delivery system due to their unique properties that can improve the efficacy and safety of pharmaceuticals. Microspheres represent a promising approach in the field of drug delivery, offering numerous benefits over traditional methods. While there are challenges to be addressed, ongoing research and technological advancements are paving the way for more effective and safer drug delivery systems using microspheres.
