Abstract

This study is highlight that research methodology is very important in Library and Information Science field for conducting rigorous and reliable research to advance the field. It emphasizes the need for a proper methodology to systematically collect and analyze data to address research problems, whether basic or applied. The study also point out to the increasing complexity and diversity of research methods in LIS, the prevalence of quantitative approaches like surveys, and the need for a systematic approach to identify gaps and inform future practice.
