Abstract

Computer Vision based object tracking are gaining more demand in the field of video surveillance. However, tracking of multiple moving objects under occlusions is inefficient with single camera-based setups. Multiple item tracking under long-term or even complete occlusion is a time-consuming process with unreliable results. Multiple camera-based multiple objects tracking with object re-identification in multiple cameras can be incredibly effective when dealing with occlusion situations. This paper reviews multiple approaches for detection and tracking using multiple-camera based setups.
