Abstract

Becker’s nevus is an epidermal nevus characterized by unilateral, hyperpigmented macules and patches located on the proximal upper extremities, with or without hypertrichosis. It is only rarely congenital, the majority of lesions occurring in the first two decades, classically at puberty. There are very few cases that have been reported in literature with atypical presentation of becker’s nevus that is bilateral symmetrical mostly in Indian population. Becker’s nevus is rarely congenital and usually presents only after adolescence. We present a rare case of congenital bilateral Becker’s nevus in a one year ten-month-old male child.
