Assessment of Women’s Occupational Stress and its Effect on their Job Performance and Job Satisfaction

Abstract

Does occupational stress affect job performance and job satisfaction? To find out the answer to this research paper has carried out. To do this research study 221 women employees of co-operative societies were selected through simple sampling method. The well-structured questionnaire was utilized to collect the data from the respondents and Articles, Journals, websites etc. were used as a secondary source of data. The Research found that, there is a low degree of negative relationship between occupational stress and job performance but not significant. In the same way there is a low degree of negative and significant relationship between occupational stress and job satisfaction of women employees.
